Honestly I think most of the major plot points in Incredibles 2 could have served as a prologue before a timeskip to begin the main story. 2nd was a flash in the pan success, the rest were basically the "Airplane!" The plot of the second one was actually very similar to the first one, with the Supers trying to return to society, the family trying to figure out how to function normally while also dealing with super powers, one parent going off and getting involved in some villainous scheme that the others then have to come save them from, and the villain being an embittered normal person who advocates for being your own hero through the use of technology. The action and animation was top notch but that story and character development was awful. An ethos is the driving principle or the character so to speak that defines a moral ideology and its agents. It’s an amazing, beautiful, non-stop thrill ride, but it’s also pretty long for a kid’s movie at just under two hours.
